It’s surprisingly decent for a video producer that runs right inside your browser (Chrome). You have access to a wide range of beginner to intermediate tools, several video layers, and an eye-catching array of customizable templates. It does, however, have a subscription service, and just like other computer services, using it requires waiting for your media to be uploaded.
Even with the best video editing computers, video editing may be resource-intensive, especially as projects get bigger and more complicated.
However, a plethora of excellent video creators allow you to create a short film just within your web browser. One example is InVideo, which claims to make using templates to create videos easier.

InVideo can be used in three different ways: for free, for business, or unlimitedly.
With the free plan, you may access over 6,000 templates, 3 million files in the standard media library, and make videos up to 15 minutes in length. 1GB of cloud storage is also available. The fact that you cannot export your video is a significant restriction.
The annual cost of the business plan is $180 (about £150 / AU$265). It enables you to edit videos without a watermark and exports up to 60 HD-quality videos with a 40-minute maximum duration per month. In addition, you can download up to 10 pieces of iStock media per month and access banks of stock photos and videos. Additionally, there is a “remove background” tool, with a monthly cap of 20 deletions. Additional features include the usage of InVideo’s video editing software and 10GB of online storage.
For $360 (about £300 / AU$530) a year, Unlimited gets rid of restrictions on the majority of the service, including exports and access to the site’s premium media. Though it sounds endless, it’s not really. A monthly cap of 120 downloads is imposed on iStock. There’s a 100GB limit on cloud storage.

As with most other services, creating an account on InVideo is simple, and you can work together with colleagues.
As an online collaboration tool, InVideo was created from the ground up to enable different team members to work on the same project. You should invite others for that to function, either by copying and distributing the invite link or by inputting email addresses in the movie maker.
With full admin access, your invitees can add and remove members as well as perform the majority of other operations that are limited to the primary account holder. As an alternative, you can designate them as editors, which will only allow them to contribute media and create projects.
You then have to complete a series of mandatory questions before you can begin working on your first video project.

Quite similar to rival video editors; user interface is clear and well-structured.
First of all, there will be a small message telling you to use Google Chrome as your browser if you’re not already using it. While you do have to wait for something to happen while using Chrome, the delay was substantially shorter than with FireFox and Safari, which we found to have greater lags than anticipated. Switching browsers may be difficult, but in the case of InVideo, the trouble is well worth it.
If you’ve experimented with other online editors, you’ll find the UI quite familiar once you’re in your project. All of your resources, including templates, stock footage, elements, and clips of your own, are arranged in a sidebar on the left. It basically has everything you could possibly want to add to your project.
Choose any category. It enlarges the area directly to the right of the sidebar, allowing you to search and examine potential additions for your video.
The canvas, which occupies the majority of the interface and is located farther to the right, serves as both a preview of your work in progress and a tool for manipulating items you’ve placed. You can move, rotate, resize, or even remove them.
The Timeline, which either displays the whole project or focuses on a specific scene, is located underneath it. For anyone accustomed to using any of the top video editing programs, this will be familiar ground. The ability to work with several layers in a single scene was appealing to us. This implies that, for example, it would be simple to have several clips playing simultaneously on the screen.
Transitions were a little trickier to work with. InVideo operates differently, but generally speaking, you should be able to put one between any two clips. Only two scenes can have transitions added to them. It’s important to keep in mind that you can have more than one clip in a scene while organizing your edit.
Uploading your video may take some time; this is a common occurrence with online video editors, not just InVideo, as cloud connections affect performance. The worst aspect of the idea of an online video creator is having to wait for the files that are already on your computer or laptop to become available.
Fantastic instruments that are simple to use and intuitive
Here, video editing is really easy to use: just like in many of the greatest video editing programs for novices, all of the actions revolve around dragging and dropping. Drag the element of your choice into the main preview area. You have the option to edit a video clip in a separate floating window as soon as you add it, but you can also edit it right from the timeline.
Once more, moving the clips there is as easy as drag and drop. You can either use the mouse to adjust its edges or the delete key to get rid of it completely. The commands “Undo” and “Redo” are located at the top of the interface, as one might anticipate.
When you begin a new project, you get to choose your aspect ratio (16:9, 1:1, or 9:16). But during the project, this can be changed at any time. Your elements are automatically relocated to take use of the new dimensions as this essentially produces a new project. Naturally, you are free to make changes yourself if the AI made a mistake. With the exception of the occasional latency, you hardly notice that you’re using a browser. The tools for creating videos in InVideo are user-friendly, straightforward, and efficient.
